Who owns each part of the installation?
Bright Solar scopes and supplies the package, then manages the qualified design, installation, testing and handover. Your written proposal identifies the exact equipment, included permits, utility tasks, warranty route and after-sales contact.
Named technical scope
The proposal should identify our qualified installation team, exact equipment, mounting, protection, cable routes, testing and any utility or local-government tasks. Record exclusions beside the included work.
Documents after commissioning
Keep the equipment schedule, serials, manuals, monitoring access, test records, warranties and named after-sales contacts. Handover is part of the installation scope, not an optional extra.
Build the project brief before our site survey.
Bring recent bills with kWh consumption, the hours when major appliances run and any planned changes such as another air conditioner, pump or business equipment. State whether the goal is daytime grid reduction, stored energy, selected backup or independent supply.
Provide property location, roof photographs that can be taken safely, ownership or landlord approval, and known access limits. These details prepare the survey; they do not replace structural, roof or electrical inspection.
Confirm who will install and approve the work.
Your Bright Solar proposal should identify the qualified people responsible for design, electrical work, testing and documentation. The Department of Energy publishes a Solar PV Installer Registry as a reference for government entities, but the registry is not an endorsement and does not replace project due diligence.
The written scope should allocate site survey, engineering, installation, local permits, Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection where applicable, utility coordination, commissioning and any corrective work. Do not assume one total price assigns every responsibility to one company.
Lock the exact system schedule.
List the panel manufacturer, model, quantity and rating, plus the exact inverter and battery models where included. For Felicity Solar equipment, confirm the proposed models, supported configuration, operating modes and warranty documents rather than relying on the brand badge alone.
Separate panel-array capacity in kWp, inverter power in kW and battery energy in kWh. Also identify backup circuits, protection equipment and any existing generator or solar equipment that must be integrated. Similar headline sizes can describe materially different systems.
Make handover testable.
Before work starts, agree what the completed handover pack will contain. It should identify the installed models and serials, manuals, monitoring access, commissioning or test records, warranty registration evidence, as-built information where supplied and the named contact for installation and product issues.
At handover, confirm that the documents match what is physically installed. Record any outstanding utility step or corrective item with an owner and date. Do not open equipment, alter settings or carry out live testing yourself to fill a missing handover record.
