SOLAR COSTS & QUOTATIONS

Compare the scope.
Then the price.

A panel price, an equipment bundle and a fully scoped installation are different purchases. Before comparing totals, check that each proposal covers the same job, equipment and responsibilities.

What exactly is included in the number?

A useful solar price names the equipment and the work. A headline package can leave out roof preparation, electrical modifications, connection-related work or storage requirements that become important later.

01

Equipment and configuration

Panel quantity and rating, inverter model, battery model and compatible configuration must be clear. A larger nameplate number does not by itself make the system more suitable.

02

The work at the property

Mounting, cable routes, electrical protection, access and site-specific work affect the scope. Ask what the survey has confirmed and what remains provisional.

03

Connection and after-sales

Check who handles documentation, utility coordination, applicable fees, warranty registration and after-sales. Record exclusions alongside the included work.

Solar panel prices in Manila: what is being priced?

For a Manila property, compare panel-only prices with panel-only prices, and installed-system proposals with equivalent installation scopes. Roof access, electrical work, the connection route and storage can change the total even when two quotations show the same panel capacity.

Ask for a current, property-specific quotation with exclusions stated. Prices and service availability are confirmed for the property and agreed scope; this guide is not a package price list.

5 kW or 10 kW: what changes in the quotation?

First establish what the number describes. A 5 kWp panel array, a 5 kW inverter and a 5 kWh battery are different specifications. Ask each provider to separate panel-array capacity, inverter power and battery energy rather than calling all three a 5 kW package.

A proposal described as 10 kW is not automatically twice the cost, twice the useful household generation or twice the backup duration of a 5 kW proposal. Daytime demand, available roof area, inverter selection, installation work and utility assessment determine what is suitable.

For a 5 kW versus 10 kW comparison, request the panel schedule, inverter rating, any battery capacity, expected generation assumptions and included electrical works side by side. A technical assessment must establish suitability; a bill total alone cannot choose between them.

Keep panel prices separate from system costs.

A solar panel is one part of the system. The inverter, mounting, protection, wiring and installation work have different roles. Adding a battery also introduces storage equipment and design requirements that are not reflected in a panel-only price.

We do not publish a fixed package figure without a current, approved scope. Tell us about the property, usage and priorities so the assessment can lead to a proposal with named equipment and clear responsibilities.

Compare Felicity Solar models like for like.

When comparing our Felicity Solar options with another proposal, use exact model references rather than brand names alone. Check the inverter’s intended application, compatible battery configuration and the proposed installation environment.

For storage, distinguish nameplate energy from the usable capacity and operating assumptions. For backup, identify the circuits and limitations. A bigger battery figure does not resolve an inverter power limit or an unsuitable configuration.

Ask about the exclusions before committing.

A quotation should say which survey findings could change the scope and who would approve any variation. Discuss roof work, electrical upgrades and utility requirements explicitly rather than assuming they are included in a single total.

Keep the written warranty terms and after-sales contact route with the proposal. Equipment warranty, installation responsibilities and operating requirements may be different matters. The appointed implementation partner confirms the technical work and agreed support.

OUR PRODUCT RANGE

Felicity Solar.
Selected for the job.

Our product range is Felicity Solar. We help match the panel, inverter and battery options to your property and priorities, rather than treating each component as a separate purchase.

The proposal needs to identify the exact models, their compatibility, installation scope and applicable warranty terms. A product family alone does not establish backup performance or utility approval.

Is the quotation specific enough?
